I AM FEELLING so blessed.

07/11/2023

Ready for change and tired of self censoring myself scared of the algorithm. I believe we are at a critical point in our shared reality. I want authentic leadership that is ready to get money out of politics. I want leadership that has a proven record of standing up for the people. I want leadership that is willing to take a bullet for what is right.

Escape Bo***ge Through Your Yoga Practice 05/06/2023

Morpheus said it best in the Matrix movie when he was talking with Neo. He explained that human beings are born into bo***ge.

- - - - - - - Start Quote From The Movie - - - - - -

MORPHEUS
The Matrix is everywhere, it's all around us, here even in this room. You can see it out your window or on your television. You feel it when you go to work, or go to church or pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.

NEO
What truth?

MORPHEUS
That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born into bo***ge, kept inside a prison that you cannot smell, taste, or touch. A prison for your mind.

- - - - - - - End Quote From The Movie - - - - - -

There is a world of illusion that surrounds us keeping us distracted and fascinated by pleasure seeking and sense gratification—this is The Matrix.

If we're not careful, life will swallow us up and we might find ourselves at a ripe old age of 60 or 70 realizing that all the impermanent things we've chased over the years were a complete waste of time.

That being said, there is something absolute and eternal. The whole point of our lives in fact is to wake up to this highest truth and discover that which you and I truly are—Sat Chit Ananda—absolute existence, absolute knowing, and absolute bliss.

Time is running out.

Are you making the most of your time?

Are you living your best life ever and sincerely walking the path of Wisdom?

Perhaps you'll get to it tomorrow.

Either way, there is a way out of this mess and the infinite subsequent future incarnations. The way out is to start going within. This is yoga.

I’m right here with you,

Nashville Shootings, The Problem is All of Us 03/29/2023

https://youtu.be/sRU6bw_VfI4

With the most recent mass shooting in Nashville, we are presented with yet another heartbreaking mass shooting. A number of human beings-including young children were slain and had their lives cut short by the increasingly familiar sound of automatic gunfire. When we look closer at this tragedy we find that behind the explosions of gunfire was yet another marginalized and mentally disturbed human being.

The knee-jerk reaction to these sensationalized news events is to pile on and point the blame at the person who pulled the trigger. I would argue however, the problem reaches a much deeper cause, a cause that most of us are unwilling to examine.

Ask yourself this question, how much pain and suffering would a person have to be in to feel that the only solution is to take the lives of small children?

Imagine how twisted a person's mind and heart has to become, how much anger, hate, and ignorance festers inside of such a one. A person like this doesn't feel any connection to their soul, or other human beings, and is totally cut off from life itself.

Obviously, there is no excuse for such violent and terrible behavior, but we have to see by now that the problem is not gun laws and it's not the individual people acting out these acts of violence. The problem is a deep rooted problem that finds its cause within all of us.

These growing outbursts of rage and violence reach deep into the psyche and consciousness of our collective consciousness, and until each of us can get our own house in order, we will continue to see eruptions of rage such as this spread and grow like malignant cancer.

Everything happening in our society is the result of a very sick society that has some serious soul-searching to do. Each of us is responsible for the madness in the world, and these types of tragedies will continue so long as we continue to live materialistic-based lives rather than spiritually-based lives.

For us living in Western culture, every time we tacitly agree to ignore the fact that all of the minerals in our cellphones, laptops, and electric vehicles come from child labor in third-world countries, we are part of the problem. Every time we drive past a homeless person on the street and close our hearts to that person we are part of the problem. Every time we vote with our dollars by buying cheap imported products from China, we are part of the problem.

You might be asking, what does any of this have to do with someone shooting kids at an elementary school?

It' has everything to do with it.

The work has to start within each one of us. Each one of us has got to start looking inside, and we've all got to start making some real changes in our lives to reflect a new kind of consciousness-Christ consciousness. Our current collective consciousness is arrogant, entitled, and above all steeped in fear.

Generally speaking, the vast majority of our population lives in a scarcity mindset and we fundamentally believe there aren't enough resources. In addition, we are domesticated and totally dependent on government institutions and corporations. It's no wonder people live in a scarcity mindset, if the electricity goes out, along with gas and grocery stores - most people wouldn't last two weeks.

We must get our own houses in order. All this dependence on these soulless institutions has come at a terrible price.

We smile at one another but when it comes down to it, it's every man for himself. Generally speaking, most people feel zero connection to their neighbors on the other side of town, not to mention on the other side of the planet. But the truth is, we are all brothers and sisters and until we start living like it, the fear that is buried deep below the surface of our polite smiles will continue to erupt and show itself in circumstances like the most recent shooting in Nashville.

Our society is full of sick and damaged people that have been hurt, abused, and crushed by life's circumstances. It's really no surprise this continues to happen. We live in a world of have's and have nots and the people that live on the fringe of society are sick and tired - literally sick and tired.

How badly does one's life have to be to go on a killing spree of innocent children?

It's time to stop pointing fingers out there, and it's time to start looking at ourselves individually. The world will not change until each one of us changes and that is the highest of truths.
