Comedy is a science. It’s an art. We’re very excited to offer our knowledge of being behind many comedy sets. From multi-cam, to single-cam to improv to mockumentary style comedy, we will discuss it all. We will help you sharpen your comedy skills by teaching you:

-WHY pacing is so important.

-How to deliver YOUR joke and how to set up the OTHER character's joke - and WHY this is so important.

-How to find the “comedic turn” in your scene and how to properly add a “button” to the end of your scene.

-The power of "threes" in comedy... 

... and so much more. You should feel exhausted after this class, because it will be a workout. Taught by instructors Anthony Cooper and Julie Gale.

This is an adult class ages 18+ (8-18 coming soon!)

Want to sharpen your TV skills? Have a co-star audition but you’re not sure how to navigate it because there’s not much ‘there’. Feeling lost with how to break down a scene and make specific character choices? By the end of this course, you will be able to navigate through your auditions with skill and ease. You will be equipped with techniques that will help elevate your performance so you can tackle that next audition. Each week will focus on one aspect of TV land. Think of this as a TV bootcamp, but fun! Class will be taught by instructors Anthony Cooper and Julie Gale.
Each week we will focus on the following:

🎬 Week 1: The Co-Star

🎬 Week 2: The Guest Star

🎬 Week 3: Character Analysis and Improv

🎬 Week 4: Recurring roles & The Series Regular

Ages 8-18 ( Classes will open to adult performers soon)

Classes will meet once every Saturday starting June 5th for 4 weeks (3-3 1/2 hour class). Actors will receive scenes 2 days prior to each class. Beginner classes will meet at 10am (PST) every Saturday. Intermediate/Advanced classes will meet at 2pm (PST) every Saturday.

(This is a group class. Actors are encouraged to take notes as other students perform their scenes and receive feedback from instructors Julie and Anthony).

💻 Classes will meet via Zoom until further notice.

Instead of trying to calm down, try telling your body it’s excited instead! They are both states of high activation and your body has a hard time being able to tell the difference between the two. The only real difference is the story we create about them.

Anxiety and stress involve stories of resistance.
