Today marks the Theta Day of Service. Normally, we would be out with each other in support of many organizations, namely CASA. We highlight our past service here with trash clean ups and making gifts for veterans. Although we do have virtual philanthropy via letter writing and fundraising, there’s nothing quite like doing hands on work with each other.
We hope everyone at this time is staying healthy and helpful! An update about our OXY community:
We will be transitioning to online classes, and many of us are moving home to be with family.
We love and support everyone during this time and always!
Today is Founders Day!! On Jan 27th in 1870, Kappa Alpha Theta was founded as the first Greek Fraternity for women. Today we celebrate the four founders and leading women who brought us together today: Bettie Locke Hamilton, Alice Allen Brant, Bettie Tipton Lindsay and Hannah Fitch Shaw.
