Silent Letters in English! 🤫✨

Did you know some letters in English words aren’t pronounced? Here's why:

🔤 Why are they silent?

English has borrowed words from other languages, keeping the spelling but dropping the sound!

🔍 How can you recognize silent letters?

Here are some common patterns:
Silent "K" – Words like knife, know, knight. The "K" is silent before "N."
Silent "B" – Words like thumb, climb, debt. The "B" often follows "M" or is before "T."
Silent "H" – Words like honest, hour, ghost. The "H" stays quiet in certain words!
