Bishop Stephan Hoeller has passed as of early this morning. An era has passed with him. He was a noted author, bishop and lecturer and brought the Gnosis to many thousands. He has much responsibility for the way the Gnosis and Gnostics are spoken of in the more kindly and thoughtful tone we more often experience today.

Yes he was a complicated man and had complicated relationships with those he worked with, myself included. But to me he will always be the man who brought me to God and in a way that still works for me. He gave me a platform upon which to grow and share my own experience of the Gnosis and ultimately gave me my freedom.

I met him in 1974 and served with him for 45 years, and for that I am very fortunate indeed. Farewell my good brother. May you enter the realms of light and remain forever, a pillar in the Temple of God.

"F" Mint Mobile. My year long service just ran out even though I paid for a full year a few days ago. As it turned out my credit card had been blocked "security". After I unblocked it and put through the payment again for a whole year, I find I am being charged a $20 recovery fee. As if it costs them anything to take my money and restart my account after 2 hours of being inactive. If I had known I was going to be punished for reinstating I would have gone somewhere else even if it cost more money.

I like a good drag show as much as anyone, but mocking central, historical religious imagery at the Olympics? Oh but it's ok because they didn't mock Islam (Allah forbid) or Judaism or Buddhism. Yes it's all very international and respectful of everyone, well, except for Christians and of course Catholics are the worst, right? So let's take a brake from all the international camaraderie and find some people to separate out and ridicule their most sacred beliefs.

No more major excavations at Gobekli Type. Now it's just for tourists. The site is controlled by a WEF foundation and they have poured concrete on the site for roads and have said they are saving the excavations for future generations. Yes the most important archeological site in the world is reduced to a tourist trap. I want my T-Pillar hat.
