Recording, Radio, Film Connection & CASA Schools (RRFC, for short) is a post-secondary institution or trade school with an unconventional approach to teaching our students. Instead of gathering students into classrooms to teach them, we place our students into various workplace environments as student externs and they’re paired with a mentor who actually works in that business or industry and has
achieved success in it. Rather than spending years in school, our students train in our curriculum-backed programs for 6 to 9 months, on average. We also work hard to keep tuition costs low, as compared to other post-secondary and conventional schools, colleges, and universities. Included in the tution is tutoring, career services support, and industry-oriented lessons delivered via eBook. As our name suggests, RRFC currently has four program area divisions:
Recording Connection specializes in programs in audio engineering & music production, eletronic music production, hip hop production & beat making, live music (live sound), live DJing, and the music business. Radio Connection specializes in programs geared towards aspiring radio broadcasting professionals, podcasters, and social media/streaming media influencers including YouTube content creators. Radio Connection for Radio Broadcasting enables working adults and students to receive direct, curriculum-backed training, feedback, and orientation in broadcasting careers and techniques from within a broadcasting or streaming environment. Film Connection has programs in film production & editing and cinematography. With our industry-oriented 6 month programs, aspiring filmmakers receive direct, one-on-one mentorship with a working filmmaking or commercial production professional as well as tutoring, career services, and more, all while training from within the industry. Chef Apprentice School of the Arts (CASA) is not a conventional culinary arts school which places its students inside of cooking labs and classrooms. With CASA we apply the very same mentor-led, in-industry training to delivering real world culinary education that’s led by an experienced, highly qualified chef who guides the student in their education by training them in a direct one-on-one manner.
