Eta Alpha Chapter:
The Eta Alpha chapter of Beta Theta Pi joined Loyola Marymount University's campus in November 2007. Since the chapter's inception, the brothers of Eta Alpha have excelled as a social, academic, and philanthropic organization. The chapter holds one of the highest cumulative GPAs in LMU's greek system in addition to maintaining great involvement in intramural sports, campus and philanthropic events, and exuding the highest standards of Men of Principle. National Fraternity:
Beta Theta Pi was founded August 8, 1839, at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Today, Beta has some 125 chapters and colonies in Canada and the United States. Beta Theta Pi was the first to be founded west of the Allegheny Mountains and the first to locate a chapter west of the Mississippi River.
