Our 8th graders spent yesterday at Disneyland making memories ahead of tonight’s Middle School Graduation. 🌟

Today’s Senior Shoutout is in celebration of Breanna E. 🎓

Breanna brings joy wherever she goes. A buoyant, kind-hearted presence on campus, she has a gift for making her friends laugh and feel at home. As a dedicated Genesian, she has delighted audiences in countless productions over the years, sharing her creativity, talent, and infectious spirit both on and off the stage. 🎭

This fall, Breanna will attend Pasadena City College to study Art History, with plans to transfer to UCLA or UC Berkeley in the future. We can’t wait to see where her curiosity and determination take her next. 🌟

Congratulations, Breanna! Your bright and beautiful smile will be missed here at IH, but your Panda family will be cheering you on in all your future endeavors. 💙

Our MS Pandas recently walked to Griffith Park to spend time in reflection, journaling about the experiences and friendships that shaped their school year.

Today’s Senior Shoutout features Simone C. 📣

Simone C. is endlessly kind, intelligent, and talented. As a Genesians chairperson, she seamlessly moves from delivering a show-stopping performance to troubleshooting technical challenges behind the scenes. Whether she’s in the spotlight or fixing the spotlights, Simone brings dedication and grace to everything she does. Unapologetically herself, she embraces her passions with such joy and authenticity that she inspires those around her to do the same. Her confidence and kindness have made a lasting impact on our school community, and she never fails to make people laugh, whether it be through original quips or Smosh references. 🌟

Howard University will be lucky to have her, and we know she’ll continue to be a bright light in everything she pursues. Congratulations, Simone!

Today we are celebrating Maddie C. in our Senior Shoutout! 📣

Maddie has been at IH since 6th grade and has brought sunshine to our campus for seven years! Since matriculating at our high school, she has been a dedicated member of Genesians throughout all four years , performing in all eight productions during her time here. Most recently she delighted audiences as the Narrator in Into the Woods. Whether she’s lighting up the stage, making her classmates laugh as the resident (and witty) class clown, or talking about Beyoncé or her beloved French bulldog, Millie, Maddie brings joy and energy everywhere she goes. 🎭

This fall, Maddie is heading to Fordham University to pursue a degree in psychology. We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes next. Congratulations, Maddie!

Our Baccalaureate Mass honored the Class of 2026 as we blessed them on their journey to graduation and the exciting adventures that await. ✨

Today’s Senior Shoutout celebrates Kaya K.! 📣

Kaya is an incredibly sweet and selfless friend who always goes out of her way to care for the people she loves. She is passionate about live music and loves attending concerts and learning new songs on guitar. Kaya also cares deeply about politics and social justice. Outside of IH, she runs a local chapter of Students Demand Action and participates in national advocacy campaigns working to prevent gun violence.

A dedicated Genesian throughout all four years of high school, Kaya has contributed her talents everywhere from costume crew and running crew to being featured in the cast. We are so proud of all the heart, passion, and kindness she brings to our school community. 🎭

Kaya is heading to NYC this fall to study at Fordham University, and no matter the path she follows from there, we know she’ll make the world a better place.
