Golf seems so normal for me currently. Wait Rory is done being spokesman of the PGA. Did he even play a tournament in Europe this year,  how did you win the race to Dubai? There’s how many new tours? Junior golf was so sick this season whether it’s new kidd or elite, man there’s a wave of 7 to 11 year-olds coming for ya! What happened to the Sofi video game tour? John Rahm Red shirted? What college? Ohh the PNC is this weekend! I miss the Big Horn skins game. Is Hank Khuene still around? I also miss the battle at the bridges.

In a day of debates still as of today. Jordan, Kobe, Curry, Lebron. The greatest. In 1979 we were about to lose basketball for good. This isn’t. LIV / PGA. A writers strike (although I feel for the industry and hope the  business of great writers in motion pictures, and all parties can resolve that soon.)

 If we’re going to talk about the greatest NBA basketball player of all time, we’re gonna start talking about it in totalities and we’re going to talk about a man who was a Magician, after the biggest rivalry in H.S. to Collegiate grads into their 1980’s debut. Bird watching Larry was. McKinney made the smartest unintentional move with the bravest “Player” to play the Game.

The Game of Life.

I used to (give lessons and hang thick) with some guy, Elgin Baylor, from time to time you might’ve heard of him. I might be James, but I think he’s a little more worthy from his athletic attributes than I. The NBA had become more boring and DEAD, it’s called the lost years for a reason. That changed in one Season? How? In fact, I’m quoting myself, “never a sport ever in the history has come to a time that those stats in those players cannot compare with the Players there after. Why?  I have a father that grew up around that time and was a basketball nut.

The league had fallen into an era of massive drug abuse, poor imaging and non-televised games. Even the NBA Finals of 1978 and 1979 were on tape delay. Insanity right?  Yet in one year, Dr. Jerry Buss makes a deal with McKinney, acquires magic, gets the popcorn more ready than Chick calling it, it’s poppin (ohh just writing this friend my Jigglin, giggle in self talk but I’ll keep writing I need not stop. Jerry, Convinces Kareem, Keeps West close from a distance, and they win it all.

I was Born 1980, 40 days, 40 nights later after that Game 6 center piece Earvin Played earning 42 points, 5 positions as a rookie. I’m sure he couldn’t wait to jump on the phone and tell one day forever sweetheart. You know the name. 🍪
