The Migrant Education Program was honored to join the Malabar Elementary School community today in celebrating the launch of an exciting new partnership between LAUSD and the City of Los Angeles. This partnership will provide families and community members with a safe and welcoming space to enjoy the outdoors and recreational activities on Saturdays and Sundays.

A heartfelt thank you to Principal Ortega for graciously inviting MEP to be part of this special celebration and, most importantly, for her continued support of our migrant students and families. We value your partnership and commitment to creating opportunities that strengthen and uplift the entire community.

Congratulations, Principal Ortega and the Malabar Elementary community, on this wonderful new partnership! The Migrant Ed Program is proud to support you and celebrate this important milestone alongside you. 💙

MEP teachers preparing for Summer School and the EL Programs Cadre wrapping up another successful MPII deck preperation. Thank you all for your dedication, collaboration, and support. We couldn't do this work without each of you. Looking forward to an amazing MPII and summer program. Can't wait for another year of serving our students and families! 💙📚✨ A special thanks to the amazing MMALC team Frances Morales and Maria Ricabal for your PD. Teachers loved it and can't wait for summer school.
