That’s what The Care Den is.
Every week we meet with our geriatric social worker Ali. In her last session caregivers did Zoom tours of their bathrooms and she gave them real suggestions for making them safer for their parents. We have a grief group. A nervous system regulation session. Community that actually knows what this life feels like.
Everything is weekly because caregiving is unpredictable, but you always deserve a place to find your own peace within the chaos.

At my mom’s funeral a childhood friend shared how my mom encouraged him to go into computer science. He now has a family that he supports from his career working with computers. That brought me so much joy to hear.
