Truly, there is no aspect of dementia care that you won’t find here —things like putting together a care plan, planning  for the future, skills to manage challenging behaviors, how to ASK FOR and GET the help you need and deserve . Even placement guidance and  late stage support.

Also, I have tons of experience in supporting complex care situations-and what care journey is not complicated? Each day, more information hits the press regarding lifestyle changes that can delay or reduce the likelihood of developing dementia. In this study published in JAMA, cognitively challenging activities, like puzzles, games and adult education seem to cut dementia risk by 9 to 11%. This study questions the impact of socialization. The flurry of new information is useful and needed, but people's individual experience can vary.
