In big cities like Castelia City and Lumiose City, many Pokemon have adapted to living in these urban environments alongside humans! The study of how these organisms have adapted to urban life is called Urban Ecology. It’s incredibly important field of study since people and Pokemon must live together in harmony whether it’s wild spaces or deep in the heart of the city. Our Poke-professors from the Greenfern Science Academy recently visited Castelia City and did an urban ecology study! Let’s see what they learned!

There’s Power in Education!

Cosplay for Science was started by four friends who also all happen to be paleontologists. Their love for science and passion for education has always been their driving force and together they strive to show the world just how awesome science is. When not talking about science, these massive nerds spend their time talking about the latest Star Wars news, saving the galaxy from the Reapers, and disneybounding as their favorite characters. One day, they found a way to combine their two worlds into one! And so Cosplay for Science was born!

Just like their favorite superheroes, the Cosplay for Science crew want to make the world better place. While they may not have super powers, per say, they do have education on their side. And as they say, “There’s power in education!”

With Cosplay for Science, these four paleontologists want to use their nerd skills to help people all over the world appreciate the science in their everyday lives and perhaps inspire a new generation of scientists. Whether they are talking about the fossils that inspired Pokemon like Omanyte and Tyrant at their museums or revealing a fun science hidden in their favorite Disney movies at a local comic-con, the Cosplay for Science crew is ready!
