Let's celebrate a fantastic achievement for one of our own! Congratulations to Ms. Alejandre!

In addition to her incredible work with our students, Ms. Alejandre has been accepted as a member of the prestigious National Humanities Center's Teacher Advisory Council for the 2025–26 cohort.

This role allows her to represent KJSA on a national level, sharing her expertise and collaborating with educators from across the country. We are thrilled that she will be bringing the invaluable insights and strategies gained from this experience directly back into our Katherine Johnson STEM Academy classrooms.

We are so proud to have her leadership shaping minds both here at home and across the country!

Help us give a huge congratulations to our amazing school counselor, Ms. Goueth! 🎉🥳

She just passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE), a rigorous national exam. This was the final step to earn her state license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

This is a testament to her dedication and expertise in supporting the mental health and well-being of our students. We are so proud and fortunate to have her as part of our Katherine Johnson STEM Academy family!

We are filled with immense pride for our Katherine Johnson STEM Academy 8th graders this week. They delivered their final Presentations of Learning, and to say they were impressive would be an understatement.
Each student was challenged to reflect on a significant project from this past year, connect it to their own personal growth, and articulate how these experiences are shaping their plans for the future.
Watching them present live with such poise and insight to a supportive panel of students, staff, parents, and community members was a powerful reminder of what our young people are capable of. They were articulate, reflective, and inspiring.
A huge and heartfelt congratulations to our entire 8th-grade class! We are incredibly proud of the hard work and courage you demonstrated.
I also want to extend a sincere thank you to our wonderful panelists who gave their time and energy to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and provide invaluable feedback. Your partnership is what helps make these authentic learning experiences possible.
What a fantastic culmination of their middle school journey!
