Here is a little work I did with former LPGA player and winner KathrynšŸ“󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁓ó æ in honor of Solheim Cup season!

Key in on footwork, right foot stays planted a long time on the left frame, restricting pushing hips up and āž”ļø

Cueing the hips, we see how the kneecap responds by getting more forward.

At the finish, the spine is more extended less flexed.

These elements serve to create power thru the longest lever, the spine, and to keep the low point forward.

I’ve always secretly (now not so secretly) rooted for team Europe, just by virtue of having known more of those gals and enjoyed their style of play.

Tune in and help out with the TV ratings for these girls. Solheim is a fun watch.

Non-negotiable to keep low point forward in flops

Need to do as much as possible to make this shot hard to screw up-

P7-9 spine flexion = low point forward
P4-9 tons rotation = low point forward
P1-7 left tilt maintained= low point forward
P6 short arc= low point forward
P9 arms low exit=low point forward
P9 arms around= low point fwd

Not gonna give away the cues, šŸ˜‰ but this is what’s happening with biomechanics.

It’s all talk until there are beginners turning into ball strikers. The issue in teaching is everyone has something to say on the internet- telling you what you should do, etc.

But until I see projects like this, I don’t have time to listen to opinions. Show me your projects like I have shown my work.

And—this was not achieved by a series of simple tips or swinging your swing. This was focused and yes you have swing thoughts and body movements.

If it can be done with simple tips, show me the videos of one random tip after another evolving into something functional. That doesn’t work. Or else I would have done it the ā€œsimpleā€ way. šŸ’”

Time flies. 3 year progression for H, so proud of this guy! Sad to see him go off to college. But watching the growth has been priceless. šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Go Mary Wells ! Rockstar in my book. Wants to know the why, wants to know the details! Wouldn’t want it any other way!

The only problem with getting ā€˜behind’ the ball is that your divot also gets behind the ball

The numbers do the talking, don’t even have to say a word šŸ‘

Before, we hit the ground almost a foot behind the ball. Thins, low flight. A golf course isn’t playable then.
FFwd 2 years, backswing cleanup and nice development.
Now to put the ball at B3 consistently šŸ™‚

Congrats Tony Tony Lee on your PR at Oaks Club, a highly tactical course.

Grateful to receive unsolicited testimonials like these for Stack & Tilt Golf. šŸ™

The role of the arms in the description of the golf swing is often understated, especially recently.

Bryson DeChambeau abducts his right arm 138 degrees from start to finish. He is using nearly everything he can out of the joint --its maximum is 145 degrees per the 2nd slide.

If arms aren't participating as such, there should be GEARS traces of arms reflecting zero horizontal ab/adduction. However, no such trace exists.šŸ’”
