We want to give a HUGE shout out to Jess Perry-Martin, a high school Advanced Visual Arts Teacher @ ArTES -- Arts, Theatre, Entertainment School in San Fernando, CA!

Earlier this year, Jess was selected for our Teaching and Learning Exchange Program, a no-cost online space dedicated to curating innovative, dynamic and evidence-based resources for students. Last month, Jess presented her Teaching and Learning Exchange education solution titled "Mock Trial Courtroom Illustrators," which integrates visual arts, world history, and English into one interactive and engaging lesson plan for students, at the California Art Education Association (CAEA) Conference and was awarded the Outstanding Visual Art Educator Award for the state!

We want to give a HUGE shout out to Jess Perry-Martin, a high school Advanced Visual Arts Teacher @ ArTES -- Arts, Theatre, Entertainment School in San Fernando, CA!

Last month, Jess presented her Teaching and Learning Exchange education solution titled "Mock Trial Courtroom Illustrators," which integrates visual arts, world history, and English into one interactive and engaging lesson plan for students, at the California Art Education Association (CAEA) Conference and was awarded the Outstanding Visual Art Educator Award for the state!

This past weekend, LA Promise Fund's Black College Success (BCS) Initiative brought dozens of 12th grade students from South Los Angeles to USC where they worked on their college essays and toured campus. Rossier's Center EDGE was happy to support the BCS team by coordinating some of the logistics to help make their visit a welcoming and positive experience.
