Who's creating the basis of the Public School Education now?

Who is actually writing your kids' school textbooks? The history is deeply disturbing.

In 1989, McGraw Hill formed a massive joint publishing venture to create what was the nation's second largest textbook empire. Their partner in this massive deal? Robert Maxwell. Yes, that Maxwell family.

We hand our kids over to this system every day, but we rarely look at the corporate titans who built the actual framework of what they are learning.

Listen, if you have ever had that nagging gut feeling that the system leans more toward compliance and indoctrination than actual free thinking, you aren't crazy. I see it too, and as a parent, it is genuinely concerning.

The good news is that we have options. Maybe it is time we start exercising our right to walk away.
