We had a wonderful surprise this week. The chrysalis that made its home in our doorway finally opened!
A few weeks ago we had an abundance of morning cloak caterpillars in our yard and one happened to find its way inside to begin its transformation into a butterfly.
This was such an amazing experience to wait for and watch, the children were so patient and excited to set the butterfly free!
