Watching football made me realise how reactive most people are in business.

One good week and they think they’ve cracked it.

When time starts running out, people rush decisions they normally wouldn’t make, abandon things too early or convince themselves something isn’t working simply because it hasn’t worked yet.

And that’s why runway matters so much.

Not just financially, but psychologically.

The ability to stay calm enough, patient enough and committed enough to remain in the game while things are still uncertain is often the difference between something failing… and something eventually clicking.
