It’s closing night.
It always starts with play.
A few people in a room. A question. An impulse. A seed.
You try things. You fail. You listen. You discover. And slowly, a language begins to form.
Then you open the door and invite an audience in. not simply to watch, but to witness, experience, and become part of the exchange.
That has been the gift of this process.
From the rehearsal room to a sold-out run, we’re grateful for these seven women, for everyone who helped build this world, and for every person who came through the door and met us inside it.
Tonight, this iteration of Ntozake Shange’s for colored girls who have considered su***de / when the rainbow is enuf comes to a close.
