Our Popsicle Social was all about something we value deeply at Intiwasi: community. 💛

Families stayed after school, kids played with friends, popsicles were enjoyed, and parents had a chance to slow down, chat, and get to know one another.

These simple moments matter. They’re how friendships begin, connections grow, and a school becomes more than a place our children attend—it becomes a community we all belong to. 🌎✨

Tomorrow we have a special afternoon for our Intiwasi families to slow down, connect, and simply enjoy being together. Stop by from 4-5 pm for:

Little Exploradores is back! ☀️

A joyful Caregiver & Me Spanish immersion experience designed for little ones ages 12–36 months and the grown-ups who explore alongside them.

Through music, movement, sensory play, creative activities, and connection, children get to discover Spanish naturally while building early developmental skills, socializing, and simply having fun together.

Our next 6-week series runs October 1–November 5, every Thursday at 11:00 AM at Intiwasi School.

45-minute classes • $150 for the full 6-week series

Spaces are intentionally limited so we can keep the experience warm, personal, and supportive for every family.

Intiwasi was so excited to be part of the first-ever Private School Village Picnic, celebrating community, culture, education, and connection.

From live cultural performances and family activities to meeting so many wonderful families and fellow schools, the day was a beautiful reminder of what happens when communities come together.

We loved sharing a little piece of Intiwasi—our Spanish immersion program, our multicultural spirit, and our belief in raising children who are curious about and connected to the world around them.

Thank you, Private School Village, for creating such a special space for Los Angeles families and schools to connect. We’re grateful to be part of this growing community! 🌞

Through movement, theater games, and imaginative play, students are discovering how actors use their bodies, faces, emotions, and imaginations to bring characters and stories to life.

Hispanic Heritage Month is here!

From September 15 through October 15, we celebrate the histories, cultures, languages, traditions, creativity, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

At Intiwasi, this celebration is especially meaningful. Spanish is more than a language our children are learning—it connects them to people, stories, traditions, and a beautifully diverse world. ❤️

There are many ways to celebrate with us and around Los Angeles this month:

🎬 SEPT 18 | Intiwasi Movie Night
Join us on the patio for Intercambiados, tacos, and an evening together. Movie starts at 5:30 PM!

🌞 SEPT 20 | Private School Village Back-to-School Picnic
Come say ¡hola! to Intiwasi at the Rose Bowl from 3–6 PM.

📚 SEPT 24–27 | LéaLA
Explore books, authors, storytelling, art, and family activities in Spanish at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes.

Today we celebrated the wonderful grandparents in our Intiwasi community!

Our elementary students dedicated a special song to them, and together we played Inti Bingo, enjoyed horchata and snacks, and shared many joyful moments.

Thank you to every grandparent—and every special person who lovingly fills that role—for being part of our children’s lives. Your love, wisdom, and support are gifts that help them grow.

Today, we honor the love and support you bring to our children’s lives. We also recognize the special family members and friends who lovingly step into this role when grandparents live far away.
