Did your teacher ever say that you talked too much in class?

I was sitting in a parent-teacher conference when my teacher said to my mother, “She’s a good student, but she talks a lot in class.”

I guess I was practicing my public speaking.😜

Then when my mother hauled me off to an actual public speaking class where I was forced to speak in front of the class, I was mortified.

Now, I think public speaking is the 🔑 to a lot of business and personal success.

Becoming a dynamic speaker takes confidence, practice, and keeping your audience engaged.

How do you get started? How do you know if what you're doing is going to work?

First, you have to be confident in yourself and your message. Once you feel comfortable with that, then it's time to practice! Practice makes perfect!

The best way to get feedback on your speaking skills is to practice in front of other people who can give you honest feedback about what works and what doesn't.
