Words that have lived rent free in my head for far too long…

Imagine the series of accomplishments that had to take place to not only be accepted into nursing school but to then f*ckin survive it; graduate on time WHILE pregnant and already a mother of two little girls that I had when I was 15 and 19

Oh and I was the youngest in my class at the time (21)

To be diminished
Less than
Not good enough
Let along worthy

And I let that 💩 define me for years 🙃

It made me work my ass off so I’m not mad about it but today as I was washing my hair I heard those words loud and clear

And I decided that enough is enough💯

So I decided to write it out because it needs out of my head and back out into the world from where it came because it does NOT define a single ounce of WHO I AM 💖

It’s crazy how this world works at times and while we can’t control life doing its thing WE CAN control how we react

It’s crazy how we expect praise and acceptance from others before we seek it within ourselves

I no longer react to anyone’s opinions of me; it’s honestly not my business

I do value and protect my peace
My kids
My beliefs
My values
My energy
