UCLA Law Master of Legal Studies UCLA's Master of Legal Studies degree is designed for professionals who are looking to advance their careers through the study of law. 9 specializations.

Online, hybrid, on campus options available. The M.L.S. program is highly selective, built on engagement and connection, and is based at the #1 Public University in America and the #1 law school in Southern California. It was designed specifically for working professionals from across broad sectors of the economy that have a high need for sophisticated training in the law, but who don't need (or want) to become attorneys. This program unlocks that training at one of the top law schools in the world. The program offers eight specializations: Business Law; Employment & Human Resources Law; Entertainment & Media Law; Environmental Law; Government & National Security Law; Health Law & Policy; Law & Technology; and Public Interest Law. Students can also customize their curriculum to suit their diverse professional interests.

Day 5 was the perfect way to wrap up Launch Week. Our students heard from Dean Fiske, Professor Sander, Professor Vandevelde, and Professor Sherman, during a special Faculty Panel. The day concluded with a class luncheon at the University Club, giving students more opportunity to connect and celebrate the start of their graduate school journey together.

Day 1 was all about making connections and getting to know the MLS community! Our new students kicked off Launch Week with classes: Law 111: Introduction to American Law with Professor Baldwin Clark and Law 109: Law School Fundamentals with Professor Fiske.

The day continued with an opportunity to connect with members of the MLS community at the MLS Alumni Mixer during Homecoming weekend โ€” bringing students, faculty, and alumni together to celebrate, network, and build connections that extend beyond the classroom.
