Wheels Day is always a hit! One per month, students bring scooters, trikes, bikes, and skates to enjoy the Glendale Narrows bike path and explore at a higher speed. Eventually, older students begin to connect our outdoor classrooms and navigate the entire city on bike and public transit. This is an important part of what it means to be an Everlasting Earthling. 🚲🛴🚈🚌🥰🌳☀️💚💚💚

Calling all nature lovers and Earth explorers! Thanksgiving Camp 2024 hits the trails on Monday, November 25th with students ages 5 - 10!!! Making friends, engaging our senses, playing, discovering and running free. Our camp is the perfect enrichment for your student to decompress from the first semester of school and cultivate gratitude for the natural world. 🌈🌳🌸🍃⛅🦃

Place-Based Education means developing a relationship with our city. This gives our students a sense of belonging, meaning, and pride in their diverse and dynamic community. It also promotes self efficacy, personal agency, and overall critical thinking. Here we are, boarding the Metro bus this past week on our way to see Wild Robot in theaters. We love to be Everlasting Earthlings!

It is sure to be an amazing adventure that will develop student confidence, independence, and sense of peace as they bond with each other and the natural world. At Everlasting, math class is measuring a young lizard that crawled up your friend's arm.

One of our elementary students' most favorite classes, Gardening with Ms. Jo is up and running! We are starting with seeds this month. Nature is fascinating and we love getting hands on experiences in the dirt!

San Diego success! Our first day program exploring Mission Trails was a blast! A day full of making friends, discovering biodiversity, and honoring the Kumeyaay people of the land we explored. We can't wait for more classes along San Diego River and beyond!
