📣 Mizzen + PLUS ME Project are giving three youth programs serving grades 6-12 the chance to participate in an exclusive virtual Story Spark Experience this fall.

Your program will receive:
➕ A live virtual storytelling experience led by a PLUS ME storyteller with interactive activities
➕ A PLUS ME Journal for every participating young person

How to enter:

A new Mizzen collaboration, a shared belief, and a story that brought us here.

We’re excited to welcome the PLUS ME Project to Mizzen. This collaboration is rooted in our shared belief that every person has a story worth sharing and that stories have the power to help us connect, belong, and see what’s possible.

This is especially meaningful because it is close to home for Mizzen. Through his support of PLUS ME, our CEO, Carlos, experienced firsthand the impact of storytelling when he met Axel, a 10th grader who bravely shared his story. In Axel’s words and experiences, Carlos recognized pieces of his own journey, and a powerful connection was created.

That moment captures why this collaboration matters.

Through the new Story Spark Series collection on Mizzen, educators can create opportunities for youth in grades 6–12 to explore their own stories through relatable role models, guided reflection and application activities, and meaningful conversations.

In this week’s featured activities from the Go2Science Mission: Rainforest! collection, youth practice observation, engineering, and problem-solving as they learn about animal adaptations and the environment.

In lessons 5-8, learners go deeper into Panama’s rainforest ecosystem, and students begin asking bigger questions:

To celebrate this partnership, Mizzen and Go2Science are providing access to an exclusive livestream event to 10 classrooms or programs on either June 23 (1:00 pm EDT) or June 24 (4:00 pm EDT).

Perfect for summer programs and camps in June, winners will join Beth and Curtis, where youth can ask questions about the rainforest mission and what it’s like to do science in the field.

How to enter:
