🎉🏆 WE’RE GOING TO WORLDS!

Huge congratulations to Team M – Cyber Cookies 🍪 from San Marino Robotics Lab!

At the VEX IQ Southern California State Championship, competing in one of the most competitive regions in the country, Cyber Cookies earned the Design Award, securing their ticket to the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis!

Out of nearly 500 teams across Southern California, only about 40 teams advanced to the State Championship. Winning the Design Award means the judges recognized the team’s outstanding engineering design process, innovative robot design, and strong engineering notebook and interviews.

After months of designing, building, testing, redesigning, and pushing through challenges, the team’s hard work paid off in the most exciting way.

Team M absolutely crushed it this Sunday!! 🔥🔥🔥
Ranked 3rd in qualifiers, then pulled off an epic comeback in the finals to take the Championship! 💪
They also placed 2nd in Skills and — even more impressively — won the Excellence Award, the highest honor of the competition!
A true grand slam victory and an official ticket to the California State Championship! 🎉

Our brother team, Team C 💚, also had an incredible day!
This was only their second competition, yet they showed amazing teamwork and resilience.
Even when their main driver got sick overnight, the rest of the team stepped up — calm, focused, and executed the backup plan perfectly.

From missing finals in their first event to making the finals, finishing 6th in teamwork and 8th in skills,
Team C has come such a long way — every match shows how much they’re growing and improving! 🙌
