Philo Spotlight💙

This past April, Delta Gamma hosted Anchor where teams compete in fun, water-based games to raise money. This event supports Delta Gamma’s “Service for Sight” mission, benefiting organizations such as the Los Angeles Blind Children’s Center, which was founded by a UCLA Delta Gamma, and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Points are awarded for performance, spirit, and fundraising, and a winning team is crowned at the end. Overall, it’s a mix of friendly competition, school spirit, and charitable impact.

This past Sunday, we celebrated Mother’s Day. It is always our pleasure to honor the women who continuously support us every day. We are so thankful for you!

On every last Wednesday of April, we wear denim.

As we near the end of sexual assault awareness month, we remember the history and protest against the misconstrued attitudes surrounding sexual violence. Every day, we continue to raise awareness, support survivors, and emphasize the importance of proper consent.

This year UCLA Panhellenic’s VP of Wellness ( ) organized Chalk the Walk to encourage the support for survivors through messages all over Hilgard. In addition, tabling on Bruin Walk to spread awareness and educate our campus.
