Happy Indigenous People’s Day!
I honor and give thanks to my ancestors for their courage and strength. If it wasn’t for them and their lived experiences throughout their history, I don’t know if I would be here now.
I honor where I come from. I honor where I am now. I honor where I will go.
I give thanks to those who came before me.
I honor and remember the Ute, Arapaho, and Cheyenne people’s since I now reside on their ancestral lands.
We Are Still Here.
I am living proof of this ✊🏽 ♥️💛🤍🖤💙

T H A W
Being up into the mountains recently has me in some deep thoughts. I hiked three times and loved being outside more and more every time.
I’m wouldn’t say I’m an “outdoorsy” person, but after living in CO for over 8 years now, it’s time to open myself up more to nature.
As I was hiking, I realized how fortunate I am to have access to these spaces. I have the necessary equipment to be out here now and I feel like I have an idea what I’m doing. There’s a certain confidence that’s building inside me and a natural intuitiveness with being outside. I hadn’t ever really explored this but gave me glimpses to this version of myself. This version of Kristi that is coming into being wants to be more of a guide for others in various spaces, that celebrates the outdoors, and wants to help folks find their own version of healing.
Oh, and I just ran my first 5k over the weekend!! Im feeling great and never thought I would ever be able to do that (I don’t know why I had that limiting thought)! But I’m excited for what’s to come ⚡️
If you can help donate to that would make my day ☀️

Love that the days are getting longer. Subtle shifts to a new time, season, and later sunsets.
Even though I am of the desert, the ocean holds a similar sacred space.
Intentions are set. Gratitude shared and abundance bounds. I’m ready for the shifts. Lots to share and I’m almost ready.

subtle shift…subtle start
As we invite in the energy of this new season of spring, the start of the astrological calendar with Aries, and a new moon in Aries, we will gather with the intention of awareness and possibility. Moving slowly, noticing the subtle shifts within nature reawakening, there is no rush to begin, to start fresh.
We will gather in community for a sunset yoga class taught by me to be followed by a guided meditation and sound bath by . There will be time for community afterwards to share your yoga/sound bath experience and to share your intentions for this spring season 💫

Self love appreciation post 💝
Inspired by
One of the main relationships we can strongly cultivate is with ourselves. I hope you can show yourself some self love today (and everyday). Here are some ways I’m trying to practice loving myself more:
Prioritizing my rest
Eating healthy food when I’m hungry
Hydrating through out the day
Saying “no” and not feeling bad about it
Limiting social media
Saying kind words to myself
Listening to my body and giving it thanks
Taking a bath
Moving my body
Ps thank you for capturing this beautiful moment! 💜
Much love to you! How do you show yourself some love???? 💖

I move with the seasons, in and out of different cycles.
This Saturday, Jan 7th will be the half way point of my 42nd year being alive.
I’m playing with light and shadows, balance, new and old, and the unknown.
I’m trying to devote more time to my practice, to my movement, to my rest, and what’s important to me.
So with all of that said, I’m teaching a 60-min yoga class from home to share intentional movement from the heart this Saturday morning via zoom at 9 am MST.
No need to register.
Stay for community.
Show up ready to come out of hibernation for an hour.
Donations gratefully accepted.
This may become a weekly thing 🙃

Fall is a big transition time. I’m so very grateful to have helped guide some individuals towards finding balance and falling freely 🍂
We’re all going through the cycle of things coming to an end while there are new beginnings. I hope you can find growth through turning inwards and expansion where you need. 🧡

Many thanks to Kristi Trujillo .drishti for guiding us in a transformative Fall Freely workshop on the lawns of Chautauqua Park. It was a beautiful yoga-based experience of guided reflection that helped us give voice to the ways we want to show up in this new season.
It was also the first in our monthly series of evening community events that are open to all women, offering a taste of outdoor exploration, adventure, and connection much closer to home. Check out our website to see what's next!

🍁 Fall Workshop Alert 🍁
・・・
We are so excited to share that Summit (re)Sisters instructor, Kristi .drishti, will be leading a workshop for our community Friday, September 23rd (5.30-7.30pm).
Kristi was born and raised in New Mexico and is a proud member of Isleta Pueblo and Ohkay Owingeh. Through the use of yoga and incorporating her knowledge of Indigenous teachings, she creates balance and healing in her own life. She inspires others by teaching and speaking from her heart to help strive for change and collective healing in this world.
Join us for an evening of exploration, writing, and movement as we attune to the change of seasons and welcome Fall. By tuning inward and resetting our internal compass, we can find and restore balance within ourselves. Let go and free fall into the universe’s embrace.
When it comes to Boulder history, it's not a well-known fact that the KuKlux Klan held many positions of power in our local and state government during the 1920s. These lands were also home to widely upheld practices of segregation and past harms to Indigenous tribes and other people of color. And while we have a long way to go, it feels good that we get to Fall Freely by taking up space - and taking bold, healing steps together!
Head to the link in our bio for more details and to sign up. Spots are limited to 20 participants!

3 chances to show up, move your body (or not) and enjoy life. We all deserve some time to get out of our heads and into our bodies. We could all benefit from moments of clarity, stillness, and feeling free.
I want to help you experience and share kindness with yourself 💗
