Egan Spanish students stepped into the role of architects as they designed and marketed their own pueblos, using their growing Spanish language skills to make their communities as appealing as possible to potential buyers.

From strategic planning to creative presentations, students showcased the knowledge and skills they’ve built throughout the year. ¡Buen trabajo, estudiantes! 👏

Our students had fun choosing instruments to play in their school bands and orchestras. After lots of practice this school year, they knocked it out of the park at their spring concerts.🙌🏼🎼

This week, 26 students representing all 9 LASD schools participated in our first-ever Student Ambassador Afternoon. Students reviewed SEL data, shared what’s going well across our schools, discussed areas for growth, and even helped shape conversations about future middle schools in LASD.

We are proud of this incredible group of student leaders and grateful for their thoughtful insights, ideas, and engagement! 👏

Bravo to our 4th–6th graders across all 7 elementary schools who performed wonderfully at their Spring concerts over the past three weeks!🙌🏼🎼🎶

It’s been so great to see how much they’ve grown since the beginning of the school year. Thank you to our incredible music teachers and to LAEF for their continued support of our music programs! (4th grade choirs, 5th and 6th grade Bands and Orchestras and 6th grade Music Exploration classes)
