Blissful Body Journey

These words help me let go of focusing on past hurts, disappointments and abuses. It reminds me that the past does not have to define me and I don’t need to carry the heavy burden with me into my present moment.

I am learning that it’s ok and actually beneficial to everyone else in my life to make myself happy. I still love making others happy as well but it’s even better when I am feeling that I have taken time to make me happy.

This is one of my favorite quotes. It means a lot to me because growing up I was taught failing was shameful and if I didn’t win then the experience was meaningless. These wise words set me free from that and help me believe that the experience is worth while and part of the natural process of things. Also, we are successful even in our failures. Thank you Winston and grateful to have my son Drew who is so into history that I have found these words.
