A celebration of life for longtime Miramonte Christian School M.O.M (moms of miramonte) Gina Welch will be held 3pm this coming Sabbath July 25, 2026 at Sunnyvale Adventist Church, followed by a potluck with many of Gina's favorite foods. Her obituary reads "In the early 1990s while her children attended Miramonte, Gina volunteered in the classroom, transitioned to head of the Home and School board, then eventually worked full-time as an accountant in the school’s office. For nearly 30 years, she was a fixture at Miramonte and spread her love with generations of students, teachers, and parents. Food was one of Gina’s love languages. As an accomplished cook, her Miramonte hot lunches were beloved by all the students, especially her macaroni and cheese. Additionally, Gina was involved in the local homeless feeding ministry, where her food nourished the larger community.
