Build It Again with Bricks

we deleted our Magic the Gathering page on Facebook as we are closed. And no we have no new location due to no input from the community to stay open Fridays and Saturday nights.

We will still sell Lego on eBay and our MTG products online for a short time till they run out. Then I go back to Chef dom. If you know anyone who wants a personal chef (Stanford, UC Davis) to deliver meals weekly (my"real job" other than Lego expert). I did the store as a community service but the area is just too expensive to operate for that reason alone. Thank you everyone for your support. Will miss you all, especially our dedicated and helpful regulars: Maio, Toby, Nathan, Max, Scott, Alex and all those I forgot to mention but will miss. I love Magic the Gathering
and keeping kids off computers :-)

Unfortunately, due to limited product and complications with closing down we will not be able to host our last draft today. Thanks to everyone who came out to play with us week after week. You will be missed.

We will be closing the store after the last draft Sunday, Dec 27 at 3pm. No draft at 11am as no one showed for 11am draft and due to no feedback on keeping store open from new renters for continuing drafts Fridays and Saturday nights. Sorry this had to happen but needed comments as to whether they wanted it us to continue offering drafts. Best wishes to all. No pre-release will be held in January.

We negotiated and the new renters agreed to let us hold MTG 2 maybe 3 if we want Standard events. We can keep our tables and chairs at the store!
We need to the community to help pay for the small amount they want to use it, perhaps just a few dollars, but for the closeness to home and the wonderful group we have, I hope it works out.
Let us know so we can plan ahead. If we don't hear from the group, we will tell them no as negotiations are happening now.
Thanks to everyone for your support in the past. We love having Magic available to the community so close. As you may not know, the events in no way cover the costs to have done Magic at the store but I loved the players and community we created!

We are negotiating with the new renters of the store to keep FNM and perhaps Saturdays so the kids can still play. And-keep our pre-releases so keep your fingers crossed!

We are having our pre-release the weekend of Jan 16th and 17th. As usual at Midnight FNM ("1/15") and then Saturday and Sunday at 10am drafts and Two-Headed Giant at 3pm. Please sign up in advance so we get a head count!

In honor of the long Thanksgiving weekend, we will have the back of the store open for Magic events all weekend.starting at 11am till? it ends...Regular pricing stands as well as prizes. We can have Standard, Drafts, etc depending on who shows and when-the back half of the store is all for Magic!!

No one showed for Standard events or Magic classes so they are cancelled as of now.

For those of you who are new to Magic or would like to learn more. We are hosting a small 1 hour class on Sundays starting at 1:30. Classes are $35 and they will help prepare you for participating in competitions

Hello everyone! Some new events are coming up and we wanted to give you a heads up!

First off, we are starting Standard every Thursday evenings, entry is $6 and prizes depends on turnout.

A new set is coming out in January! Oath of the Gatewatch! January 16th and 17th at 10am we will be holding a Pre-release. Of course we will have our Midnight release right after FNM on the 15th but we will also be holding regular events on Saturday and Sunday. For 2HG, we have always held it on Sunday, well, we are now open to a Saturday option too so please let us know when you sign up.

Prices are:
$30 pre-registration
$35 starting January 10th
2HG is $50 early team sign ups and $30 individual sign ups
2HG will be $60 teams $35 individual starting January 10th
