🌊🦈 Summer Lookback: 3rd Grade Marine Science

Our 3rd graders experienced a hands-on adventure at the Marine Science Institute. From observing plankton under microscopes to meeting Bay fish, touching leopard sharks, and exploring local ecosystems, every discovery sparked curiosity and wonder.

Real-world experiences inspire curiosity, deepen understanding, and make learning memorable.

From pumpkin patches and hay rides to meeting farm animals and exploring garden-fresh veggies, our TK students discover, explore, and make meaningful connections beyond the classroom through hands-on experiences. 🌱

🔬 Learning came to life at our inaugural St. Nicholas Science Showcase!

Our 5th and 7th graders confidently shared their science projects with younger students, answering questions, demonstrating concepts, and inspiring curiosity along the way. From butterflies to space, energy to plate tectonics, every grade from TK to 8 explored the wonders of science through hands-on discovery.

Our TK students celebrated the end of the school year with a day full of laughter, friendship, and summer fun. ☀️💙

Join Girl Scouts of Northern California and the Los Altos Service Unit for a fun afternoon of s'mores, activities, and discovery in our outdoor classroom at St. Nicholas Catholic School.

Girls and their families will have the opportunity to learn more about Girl Scouts, meet local troop leaders, and discover what Girl Scouting is all about.

Today marks Ms. French's final day at St. Nicholas Catholic School after 28 years of dedicated service to our school community.

From her years as a 5th-grade teacher to her time as a 2nd-grade teacher, and ultimately as our Vice Principal, she touched the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues through her faith, compassion, and unwavering commitment to Catholic education.

Thank you, Ms. French, for the leadership, kindness, and care you have shared with our school community for nearly three decades. Your impact will be felt for generations to come.
