Meet Debi, our 1st grade teacher with nearly 20 years of teaching experience! Her musical theatre background brings creativity, movement, and a little extra joy into the classroom. 🎭

Debi loves following students’ interests and curiosity, creating meaningful opportunities for learning. Last year, the students’ interest in farming and chickens grew into an inquiry project shaped by their own questions and ideas. 🐔🌱

Meet Alec, our Music Specialist! 🎶 Now in his 3rd year at Ventana, Alec continues to bring his passion for music and creativity to the classroom.

From learning new instruments to analyzing songs, Alec integrates music into students’ inquiry work, creating opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and deeper exploration. ⭐️
