The Foothill College Music Technology Program offers a comprehensive course of study that leads to an A.A. Degree in Music Technology.
Degree in Music Technology, and Certificates of Achievement in Pro Tools and Music Technology. Both on-campus and online courses in studio recording, game audio, sound design, songwriting, and music business are available at times that fit your schedule.

TOMORROW NIGHT! Music Tech instructor Eric Kuehnl’s 80s band, Retrospekt, is playing the Ivy Room in Albany again on Saturday, Feb. 11. This is a Valentine’s show featuring a New Romantics theme. So, bust out your best Adam Ant rococo look (or not) and dance to 80s new wave hits from artists such as Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, New Order, Thompson Twins, Simple Minds, The Cure, and many more. Check out how Eric packs way too much technology onto a tiny stage for not nearly enough money.
The band plays from 9-11 p.m. so you can get home in time for Johnny Carson. DJ Clavé plays before and follows until 1 a.m.

Even though it's been discontinued for a while now, our students really love Mutable Instruments Braids. It's called a Macro-oscillator because it features 40+ types of synthesis, built-in filter, envelope, and VCA!
