We’re throwing it back to our Ice Cream Social and one of the sweetest ways we kicked off the school year! ❤️💙

It was wonderful seeing our LACS families come together for an evening of ice cream, laughter, and fellowship. We’re so thankful for the community God has blessed us with and for the memories we continue to make together throughout the year!

This week in Chapel, we were reminded of the HOPE we have in the Lord.

“I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope.” — Psalm 130:5

Even in seasons of waiting, we can trust in God’s Word, His promises, and His perfect timing. Thank you to Ms. Dougan for sharing this encouraging message with our students!

We also had the opportunity to recognize our Jr. Ambassadors! Congratulations to these students as they step into this special role of serving and representing our school community. We look forward to seeing them serve and lead our school community!

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and all who served in the midst of tragedy. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the families whose lives were forever changed and pray for peace, unity, and hope in our nation and our world.

Middle School's Meet-the-Teacher Night!

We loved welcoming our Middle School families to campus last night for Meet-the-Teacher Night! It was a great opportunity for parents to connect with our teachers, learn more about their students’ classes, and hear about all that is ahead this school year.

We are so thankful for our teachers, families, and the partnership we share as we encourage our students to grow academically, spiritually, and personally throughout the year.

Today, we celebrate the hard work and dedication of those who serve our families, schools, churches, and communities. We are especially grateful for our wonderful teachers and staff and the many ways they faithfully serve our students and families each day.

What does it mean to be a LACS Lion?

At today’s All-School Chapel, we celebrated school spirit and reflected on what it truly means to be a LACS Lion—showing Christ’s love, encouraging one another, serving with joy, and growing together as one community.

As Lions, we are reminded to put our hope in the Lord and look to Him for our strength each day:

Our LACS Girls’ Volleyball teams are back on the court and hard at work preparing for their first games in September! As we look forward to another exciting season, we’re throwing it back to some great moments from last year.
