While 1/2 our team is on the east coast, the other half is in San Diego, where UC often stands for “Under Construction”. UCSD is currently working on eliminating housing insecurity with additional housing options. Meanwhile, students can choose Eleanor Roosevelt’s Africa Hall or Muir College as closeby options to the Rady School of Management.

hello Washington, D.C.! this week we are back on the road and the first stop is Washington! In the nation’s capital, we got the opportunity to tour American University where they are offering new programs that combine data science and political science and data science and justice, law, & criminology! Additionally, we stopped by the IB Gloabal Centre for the Americas region which provides support for schools across the country and beyond who utilize the IB curriculum!

Should students take the SAT or ACT? What schools want to see test scores versus do test optional schools really mean test optional? How can scores positively add to a student's application? Can test scores hurt an application? In this episode, Hollis and Jordana give an overview of all things testing. We also discuss when students should plan to sit for an exam if they are hoping to include scores with their application materials. We discuss this and more!
