See you on the Foothill campus Sunday, May 3rd for an artist talk in the Building 5000 auditorium from 3:30-4:30 pm and the reception immediately following in Building 4000, the Krause Center for Innovation Gallery, for the powerful exhibition, “Remote Lives: Stories from Tribal India.” Photographers Pam Perkins and Mamen Saura have been working on this project for more than two years, traveling together to Orissa, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh to document communities whose traditions remain deeply rooted and rarely seen. The Foothill College Photography Club is hosting an inkjet printing and negative scanning clinic and demonstration presented by Eric Joseph, Co-President of Freestyle Photo & Imaging Supplies. Nationally recognized for his expertise in inkjet printing, Eric will guide participants through working with Canon and Epson printers on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Foothill College Photography Building (Building 6100, Room 6104). We will break for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 pm (please bring your own), followed by a session from 1:00 to 3:00 pm focused on scanning negatives using a dedicated scanning station. Participants are encouraged to bring a digital image large enough to print at 13"×19". Time permitting, Eric will make a few prints during the session.

The clinic is free for enrolled Foothill photography students. Community members are welcome with a suggested $50 donation (payable by check or online upon arrival).
