🎨 Art in Bloom

We’re so proud to celebrate the creativity, talent, and self-expression of our Pathways to Independence clients! 💕 Our recent art show was a beautiful opportunity for our students to share their work, celebrate their accomplishments, and connect with the community through art.

Pathways to Independence was honored to participate in The Bridge, hosted by PIMCO, on July 23. Director of Development Lisa Mais and Development Coordinator Jane Emfinger joined fellow Orange County nonprofit leaders for a day of learning and collaboration focused on engaging early career professionals in meaningful volunteerism and community impact.

We are grateful to PIMCO for investing in stronger nonprofit partnerships and helping organizations like Pathways build the next generation of community leaders. Together, we can create even greater impact.

A wonderful afternoon of charcuterie, wine, and friendship!

One of the exclusive experiences from our 2025 Rodeo Roundup auction came to life as FOP member Cathy Hansen gathered seven of her close friends for a private JEM's Little Bites Charcuterie Workshop, graciously hosted by our Executive Director, Diana Hill and Development Coordinator, Jane Emfinger.

From creating beautiful boards to sharing great conversation and laughter, it was a memorable day supporting the mission of Pathways to Independence.

Keep an eye on this year's auction…you just might have the chance to bid on this experience yourself!

Creativity has a way of bringing people together. 💙🎨

On June 17, nine Pathways clients gathered in the Dunbar Lounge for a hands-on Abstract Watercolor Art Workshop led by local artist Alison Cotter. Through color, creativity, and self-expression, participants explored new artistic techniques while enjoying an afternoon of connection and community.

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

At Pathways to Independence, we recognize the importance of creating opportunities where every individual can thrive, pursue their education, and build a brighter future. We celebrate the strength, achievements, and contributions of the Black community while reflecting on the work that remains in creating a more just and equitable world.

As we commemorate this historic day, we remain committed to empowering young women through education, support, and access to the resources they need to achieve independence and success.
