✨ LAEF Innovation Grants in Action at Los Alamitos High School ✨
Thanks to a LAEF Innovation Grant, students in Mr. Lee’s Year 11 AP Environmental Science class are getting hands-on experience with a new hydroponics system!
By growing their own plants and raising fish, students are learning about sustainability, ecosystems, responsibility, and environmental science in a real-world, engaging way. Experiences like these bring science to life and inspire the next generation of innovators.
A huge thank you to our incredible donors for making opportunities like this possible for our students! .lions

Last Thursday night we gathered at Prep Kitchen with our incredible LALC donors. The leaders in our community who quietly and consistently make a huge difference for our students.
We are so grateful to for generously hosting our happy hour and providing such delicious food for a truly special evening together.
Because of our LALC members’ generosity, LAEF is able to:
• Fund student wellness & mental health initiatives
• Provide innovation grants across all district schools
• Support STEAM fairs district-wide
• Offer fee-waiver scholarships for families in need
• Help keep Los Al USD at the leading edge of educational excellence
But beyond the programs, they are building something even bigger ❤️
A legacy of belief in our kids and their future.
Thank you to our LALC community for showing up, giving back, and investing in what matters most. ✨ .lions
