FRIENDS OF ROSSMOOR works in partnership with parents, teachers, staff and the PTA to enrich the academic foundation provided in our classrooms. We are a parent-founded, non-profit foundation whose purpose is to raise funds for the enrichment of the educational program for all children of Rossmoor Elementary School. This is accomplished by providing funds for the salaries of personnel needed to run programs, staff professional development in our signature practices, and purchasing the equipment needed to support our educational programs. We support programs that are fundamental to operating Rossmoor Elementary School, such as media center instruction, improved technology, and science education. CURRENTLY we are funding our STEM lab and on-campus science teacher implemented last year, thanks to our valuable supporters. This was made possible through our various fundraisers throughout the year including our largest , "Knighitlife" auctin-dinner gala. Friends prides themselves in that 100% of all funds raised go directly back to aid in the enrichment of our students. Friends of Rossmoor would like to hear from you. Contact us if you have any questions, suggestions, comments or would like to join us in volunteering.
