Aviara Institute is focused on connecting dental and medical professionals and providing educational seminars that focus on the connection between the airway and overall health. Introduction to Aviara Institute & “The Missing Link in Sleep, TMJ & Orthodontics”
Dr. Katherine Ahn Wallace (“Dr. Ahn”), DDS
Founder: Aviara Centers & Aviara Institute
In my 30+ year pursuit of excellence in dentistry, I have had the privilege of studying under some of the true pioneers in the area of sleep, TMD, and airway-focused orthodontics – including Drs. Each of them, though varied in their approaches, has inspired me to continue my search for the very best solutions in both early interventions and in treating patients suffering from a wide range of symptoms that could have been prevented. Having this valuable knowledge gave me the desire to bring together the very best philosophies and treatment modalities to bridge the gaps that currently exist in the medical and dental communities and pivot from our current focus on disease management to disease prevention and reversal. Aviara Centers was created to provide airway health-focused integrative care for patients suffering from crooked teeth, jaw discrepancies, sleep and/or TMJ related problems. Aviara Institute was created with this in mind: To be an integrative educational forum for dentists, physicians, and allied healthcare professionals seeking comprehensive solutions in the areas of airway/sleep, TMD, orthodontics, and whole-body wellness. My vision is to collaborate with the very best, most experienced clinicians available to lecture and provide hands-on training in an intimate setting for professionals that are desiring to grow in this field so they can contribute to the advancement of healthcare. I am excited to announce our upcoming course, “The Missing Link in Sleep, TMJ & Orthodontics.” This dual certification course will focus on Homeoblock and POD, providing you with essential tools to help you with simple yet comprehensive solutions for grinding, clenching, craniofacial pain, sleep disturbances, crowded teeth, and so many other problems our patients present with. If you are a general dentist that provides night guard therapy, this is an excellent course for you. If you are an orthodontist that wants to help improve your patients health while straightening their teeth, this is an essential course for you. And if you are a dentist focusing on Airway, Sleep & TMD this is a must take course for you. I am so grateful to Dr. Belfor, Dr. Adams, Dr. Cacho, and Dr. Zaghi for being a part of the upcoming presentations and for their invaluable contributions in this field. If you have any questions regarding these courses, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected] or register for the course today at www.AviaraInsitute.com.
