🎉 Congratulations to Our Basic Camp Graduates! 🎉

The Alcorn State Army ROTC Braves Battalion proudly congratulates our newest U.S. Army ROTC Basic Camp Graduates from Fort Knox, Kentucky!

🇺🇸 Cadet Christian Dunn successfully completed Basic Camp and celebrated this milestone with the unwavering support of his family. Joining him for graduation were his mother, Baisha Dunn, father, Cordell Dunn, and grandmother, Martha Dunn. Their love and encouragement helped make this achievement even more special.

🇺🇸 Cadet Diaja Thomas also successfully completed Basic Camp, demonstrating resilience, discipline, and a commitment to becoming a future Army Officer.

Basic Camp is a challenging and rewarding training experience that develops leadership, confidence, and the foundational Soldier skills necessary to succeed in the Army ROTC program.

We are incredibly proud of Cadets Dunn and Thomas as they continue their journey toward earning their commission as future leaders in the United States Army.

The Alcorn State Army ROTC Braves Battalion proudly congratulates MSG Brian Field on being frocked to the rank of Sergeant Major on June 8 and graduating from the United States Army Sergeant Major Academy on June 11—two remarkable achievements that mark a significant milestone in an outstanding military career.

During his time as the Senior Military Science Instructor at Alcorn State University, SGM Field exemplified exceptional leadership, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to developing the next generation of Army leaders. His impact on our Cadets and program will be felt for years to come.

Congratulations to Cadet Jadore Campbell on graduating from Air Assault Course 505-26 and earning the coveted Air Assault Badge.

Cadet Campbell, an MS III and prior-enlisted Soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve, becomes our first Alcorn State Army ROTC Air Assault graduate in four years. His dedication, resilience, and commitment to excellence embody what it means to be a Brave.

🎓🇺🇸 The Alcorn State University Army ROTC Color Guard proudly represented the Braves Battalion during the Alcorn State University Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony.

Today, our cadets demonstrated the discipline, professionalism, and pride that define Army ROTC while honoring this special milestone for the graduating class of 2026.

From presenting the Nation’s colors to standing tall before alumni, families, faculty, and graduates — these future leaders continue to exemplify excellence both on campus and in service.
