This week Dr. Wagner is at the *free* Energypath conference and Solar Design and Installation Bootcamp. Other options for the bootcamps include energy efficiency, energy policy, and bioenergy. Definitely recommended for students next summer! Meanwhile she's learning all she can to bring back to SFU! And practicing rooftop safety while installing a solar array!

The conference and bootcamps are sponsored by the Regenerative Energy Initiative formerly the Sustainable Energy Fund. And taught by the fantastic team at Solar States.

Here's another ROTC update, this time from 2025 graduate and Second Lieutenant Hunter Blasko, who earned his degree in Environmental Engineering. After completing the Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course in Missouri, Hunter is now stationed at Fort Drum in northern New York. He serves as a platoon leader for a unit of combat engineers, leading soldiers who support infantry operations by clearing obstacles, improving mobility, and advising on engineering strategy at the battalion level. It is a significant responsibility, and we are proud to see Hunter applying his training and leadership in service to his nation!
