Lorenzo Family,

Many of you may know that the legend himself, Coach Martinez, has been in an ongoing battle regarding his health. The most recent update from doctors would point towards this battle coming to a close in the near future.

I cannot begin to explain the impact this man has had on countless lives inside the Lorenzo community and beyond. Despite his health and circumstances, Coach reached out at the beginning of two-a-days to ask how many boys were playing football and offering encouragement for the season.

I ask two things of our Lorenzo community in support of Coach Martinez. The first is that we come together and pray for Coach and his loved ones in this time.

Secondly, I ask that any and all who may have a story of Coach Martinez over the years to please share your story here. Let Coach know how much we love him and let’s remind him of the lives he has impacted in his many years of leading, loving, and serving.

Coach Martinez is a legend as a Coach, and a true legend as a human. We love you Coach!
