We had a tremendous first assembly of the year this morning in the LES gym!

Dr. Cunningham recognized several students and staff members, including our 5th grade teaching team for the outstanding teamwork they’ve shown to start the year. We also celebrated our first group of students earning PRK Positive Office Referrals!

Mr. Beheler put LES knowledge to the test with a trivia showdown between Mrs. Crouch and 5th grader Owen Rambo. Mrs. Crouch scored the victory for the teachers in a tight 5-4 contest.

And Dr. Clevenger made his first assembly appearance, introducing himself to our students and getting everyone fired up about The Leopard Way.

What a great way to kick off our Friday assemblies and a great first week at LES!

Lorena Elementary is proud to be an A-rated campus and earn 4 Distinction Designations in the 2026 TEA Accountability Ratings!

This recognition reflects the hard work of our students, teachers and staff, along with the incredible support of our families and community.

We’re proud of what our Leopards accomplished, and even more excited about where we’re headed.

We gathered our amazing staff together for a group photo at the end of the day today as we celebrated an amazing first day!

We added it up and the LES staff has over 850 years experience pouring into our students.
