Today at Helping Hands Childcare & Wellness Center, we celebrated Autism Awareness Day in the most meaningful way—through the hands of our children 💙💛❤️💚
Each handprint represents a unique child, a unique story, and a reminder that every child experiences the world in their own beautiful way. Today was about more than just awareness—it was about acceptance, inclusion, and love.
We are proud to create a space where every child is supported, understood, and celebrated for who they are.

Melissa brings over two decades of experience in early childhood education, childcare leadership, and administration. Her passion for creating safe, joyful, and inspiring learning environments shines through in everything she does. She has a strong background in curriculum development, staff support, operational management, and wellness‑focused programming — all centered on helping children thrive.
As a bilingual professional (English & Spanish), Melissa is committed to building strong relationships with every family and ensuring our community feels welcomed, supported, and included.
This year, Melissa is excited to lead new initiatives focused on enriched learning experiences, emotional wellness, family engagement, and a warm, structured environment where every child can grow.
