TITAN NATION,

We want to let you know that there has been a change to our Lorain High School football game against the Elyria Pioneers.

The varsity football game between Elyria and Lorain will now be held at Ely Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 29 at noon.

As a result, the JV/Freshman game has also been moved to Thursday, Aug. 27. The freshman game will begin at 5 p.m., with JV to follow.

We appreciate the understanding and flexibility of our student-athletes, families, coaches and fans as we make these adjustments.

We look forward to cheering on our Titans Saturday!

URGENT UPDATE 🚨

Lorain High School Titans,

We want to share an urgent and important update regarding the start of the school day at Lorain High School.

Effective immediately, Lorain High School’s instructional day will now begin at 7:35 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m.

This means that 9th graders who are due to report for their first day of school will need to be in class by 7:35 a.m. beginning tomorrow morning, August 19.



Important times for Lorain High School:

7:05 a.m. - Building opens
7:35 a.m. — Instruction begins: Students are expected to be in their first-period class
7:05 - 8:00 a.m. - Cafeteria doors open
7:05 - 7:25 a.m. - Breakfast is available: Students who would like breakfast should arrive during this window.
Students who arrive to first period after 7:35 a.m. will be considered tardy.
Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. must check in through the main office.



We recognize that sharing this information just one day before the start of school may create challenges for students, families, and staff. We sincerely apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this change may cause.

Please help us make sure this important update reaches your classmates, fellow students, families and staff members.

We can’t wait to welcome all of our Titan families into our classrooms this school year! GO TITANS!

For transportation, families are encouraged to download the My Ride K-12 app, where you can access your student’s bus stop location and scheduled pick-up and drop-off times.

To log in, you will need your child’s Student ID number.

Freshmen Class Parent Meeting from 4-4:30pm
Early College Freshmen Parent Meeting from 5-5:30pm
Senior Class Parent Meeting from 5:30-6pm
Early College Senior Parent Meeting from 6-6:30pm
