History came to life for our 8th and 9th grade students this year during our bi-annual trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! 🇺🇸

From exploring historic landmarks to standing in places where our nation's story was written, students had the opportunity to experience American history beyond the classroom. Along the way, they created lasting memories with their classmates and had an unforgettable adventure.

At Horizon Science Academy of Lorain, we know that students are often more motivated and engaged in their learning when they have a goal to work toward. That's why one of our favorite annual events is our College & Career Fair!

Students in grades 6–12 have the opportunity to connect with local organizations, community members, businesses, and colleges to explore future possibilities and discover careers that spark their interests. These conversations help students begin setting long-term goals and envisioning the paths they may take after graduation.

Preparing students for success beyond the classroom is an important part of our mission, and events like our College & Career Fair are just one of the many ways we help our Cyclones build bright futures. 💙🎓

🎓 Congratulations to the Horizon Science Academy of Lorain Class of 2026! 🎓

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our graduates as they reach this important milestone and begin forging their own unique paths toward the future.

It was a joy to celebrate 13 years of hard work, growth, and achievement alongside our students, families, friends, alumni, staff, and community members. Your support has helped shape these graduates into the remarkable young adults they are today.

As they turn the page to their next chapter, we wish them success, happiness, and endless opportunities. Once a Cyclone, always a Cyclone! 💙🧡

It's summertime, but we're still smiling about some of our favorite memories from this school year! ☀️🎓✨

Throwing it back to our High School Formal, where our students were dressed to impress and ready to celebrate. From the elegant outfits to the fun on the dance floor, it was a night filled with laughter, memories, and plenty of smiles.

We love looking back on special moments like these and celebrating the incredible experiences our students shared throughout the year. 💙

We want to give a huge thank you to the Lorain Police Department for joining us at this year’s Penny War Picnic! 🍕☀️🚓

Our students had an amazing time celebrating outside with pizza, games, and special visitors from LPD. Officers brought their drones for students to see in action, and it was definitely a highlight of the day!

We love it when our community joins us in celebrating our students and helping create memorable experiences for them. Thank you, Lorain Police Department, for spending part of your day with us and making our celebration even more special! 💙🧡

Through hard work, dedication, and commitment to their futures, these students have earned an incredible $94,000 in scholarships! 💰🎉 We could not be more proud of their accomplishments and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they achieve at the next level. 🏫🎓

This is our final college acceptance post of the year, and what an incredible year it has been for the Class of 2026! Out of 35 graduates, students were accepted to multiple universities, trade schools, and branches of the military. Together, they earned an outstanding $2,547,170 in scholarships! 💙🧡
